The Toronto Gay Football League exists to give members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community and their allies an opportunity to play the game of flag football regardless of skill or experience in a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment.
During our registration period the organization welcomes new players of any skill level; no prior football experience is required whatsoever! New players are asked to attend one of our combines to asses their football and athletic abilities. This is done solely to ensure that all teams have an even balance of skill levels. All players are then assigned to a team via our yearly draft. TGFL games are played weekly on Sunday afternoons during the summer with the championship weekend held the weekend of September 23-24th.

Help out a Fellow Player - Assisted Tackle Program
The Assisted Tackle program provides TGFL players an opportunity to reduce the costs of registration for league members who express such a need. Any funds received under the program will be distributed evenly amongst individuals expressing such a need by the registration deadline date. Any remaining funds within the fiscal year will be donated to an LGBTQ community organization chosen by the TGFL Board on an annual basis.
If you are in need of the Assisted Tackle program or have questions regarding the program, please e-mail the TGFL Commissioner, Timothy Winter, at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Identity of individuals will remain confidential.
If you would like to make a contribution, please go to the Assisted Tackle page.
